Math Teacher Link ONLINE Courses
Math Teacher Link is a Web-based professional development program for mathematics teachers at the 9 to 14 grade levels. The Web-based program delivers 16 different professional development course modules on the use of technology for teaching mathematics at the high school and lower division college levels. Math Teacher Link’s Most Requested Modules: Geometry Using Geometer’s Sketchpad Teaching Dynamic Geometry Geometric Constructions Measurement in Geometry Statistics Using Fathom in the Classroom Teaching AP Statistics, Part I Teaching AP Statistics, Part II Algebra Algebra Through Modeling Discrete Dynamical Systems Calculus Using Mathematica in the Classroom Teaching Calculus with Mathmatica Calculus Refresher for Teachers Delivery Method: Classes offered on: Credit options for courses within the program: Number of Required Campus Visits: 0 Enrollment Type: Total Number of Credit Hours: Courses carry from 1 to 4 hours each; there are a dozen different courses. See course description at http://mtl.math.uiuc.edu/short_courses.php. Tuition/Program Costs: Graduate tuition for 2007-2008 will be $320 per credit hour. The fee for CEUs is $150 each. The number of credit hours and CEUs is included in each course description. Admission Requirement(s): Students may enroll in these courses without being admitted to a degree program.
