Program Profile

Educational Organization and Leadership Certificate of Advanced Study

Program Description:
The Off-Campus Educational Administration Program taught in Oak Brook offers graduate programs that embrace the broad array of administrative and supervisory positions in education. The Oak Brook General Administrative Endorsement (Type 75) cohort program is designed to provide educators with the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to meet the challenges and demands of contemporary building-level leaders, including principals, assistant principals, deans, and department chairs. The program is built around a concept of educational leaders that envisions the administrator as an active learner and facilitator of learning. Leaders are seen as thoughtful professionals who are reflective by inclination, who nurture and support a community of shared values based on democratic principles, and who empower others to lead.
