Admission Requirement(s):

Individuals who wish to obtain a certificate in Business Management for Engineers must

• Hold a bachelor’s degree
• Complete any combination of the following courses for a total of at least six credit hours:
  • GE 498 SM—Sales and Marketing for Engineers (2 hours)
  • Managing Advanced Technology in Industry (1 hour)
  • Case Studies in Managing Advanced Technology in Industry (1 hour)
  • GE 598 FM—Financial Statement Analysis (1 hour) - OR -
    GE 598 FM2—Finance for Engineering Managers (2 hours)
  • GE 598 IS—Technology Innovation and Strategy (2 hours)
• Earn at least a B- in eac course
• Submit the following materials upon completion of coursework:
  • Application form
  • Transcript of the courses you’ve completed toward the BME certificate
