Students registering for GIS courses after 08/24/08 will have 6 months to complete their course.

Submitting Assignments

You may submit a maximum of three lessons in seven consecutive days per course. Although the time required for preparation of assignments varies considerably, the average time per assignment is six to 12 hours. Note that you cannot take an examination until all lesson assignments prior to the examination have been graded and returned to you. Every effort is made to return lessons to students promptly, usually within five working days. However, lessons may be returned more slowly at certain times of the academic year, especially during the summer and vacation periods. Since it is the responsibility of the student to set a schedule for course completion within the allotted nine-month period, please inform GIS and your instructor right away if you have a graduation deadline or other deadlines to meet. If you are graduating, you must enroll and begin your course at least 10 weeks prior to your graduation deadline.
