Meeting Spaces
"We have always thought of the Allerton Retreat Center as a 'learning sanctuary', which provides the perfect atmosphere for our program." –Paul Pryz, Jr., President, LeaderShape,
Inc.
Echoing the manor house Robert Allerton built at his home, the meeting rooms of Allerton Retreat Center feature their original antique wood paneling, quarter-sawn oak flooring, and expansive windows that capture natural light and afford pastoral views of the Park. Although the mansion was built in 1900, it is equipped with 21st century technology, including state of the art audio/visual equipment and wireless Internet access.
The two-story Library, lined with books, seats 120 persons, theater-style, or up to 60 at tables.
The Pine room, with its long, rectangular table and bay window overlooking the pond, is perfect for boardroom-style meetings.
The Butternut room features an upholstered window seat, comfortable armchairs and a sofa for small group discussions.
The Oak room offers an oversized, round meeting table and French doors that admit morning light from the terrace.
